The Perfect Break
The Perfect Break is a television series that explores the wonders and beauty of people and the wonders and beauty of the world. Every episode (13 episodes per season) host Mark Kubr explores unique people in remote surf locations of the world and shares their wisdom while embracing the beauty of the waves. While looking for the Perfect Break (the perfect wave to surf) Mark finds the Perfect Break for life.
Aloha China
Aloha China is the first TV documentary created to be broadcast throughout both China and the United States. It showcases a first-of-its-kind cultural, education and management internship between Hawai’i and China. Envisioned and proposed in 1980 by Geng Baio, Vice Premier of China, it involved Hawai’i, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University Hawai’i.
More than 1,500 senior-level Chinese government leaders have been hosted under this program, including Yue-Sai Kan (who will be featured). She is a Chinese-born, Emmy-winning television host and producer, successful entrepreneur, fashion icon, bestselling author and humanitarian. PEOPLE magazine named her "the most famous woman in China“; TIME magazine proclaimed her "the Queen of the Middle Kingdom”; and FORBES magazine listed her in 2012 as “one of the Top 50 most influential business women in Asia.” Yue-Sai is perhaps the most accomplished graduate of this program.
Half-Hearts
With billions of people on the planet, how can anyone ever find their other half? And what if everything depended on it?
The only hope for planet earth lies in an ancient Alamean prophecy— the prophecy of the Half-Hearts. According to this prophecy, if any two of the twenty-four Alamean Half-Hearts can find each other, fall in love, and marry in a place that is magically prepared for such a union, that union would tip the balance of power. Then and only then will Alamea be saved and Earth be free of its terrible twin destiny.
Half-Hearts is a thrilling journey of surprising turns, with many perils along the way. And from within what should be the safety of close friendship and true love, arises the biggest threat. Based on the Half-Hearts Trilogy written by Kealohilani, the first of five feature motion pictures is scheduled to be released in 2015.
Romeo Killed Jullet
Sometimes love kills. The first question asked twenty-two year old Juliet Montega after her murder was “If you had it to do all over again, would you?” She then tells her story from the great beyond, beginning with the event that soon leads to her death— her return home from college.
Her return falls on the one-year anniversary of the day that her parents were killed by a drunk driver, with the last name of Capera. Juliet struggles to adapt to living in her childhood home alone and finds herself unwillingly thrust into a tangled web of secrets and love triangles that push her down a dangerous path. Twists and turns leave Juliet wondering who she can trust as she desperately tries to escape the destiny she fears her star-crossed name has cursed her to fulfill.
Based on the novel Romeo Killed Juliet by Kealohilani, this feature motion picture is scheduled for release in 2016.
